Energy Matters is an independent energy consultancy specialized in energy savings and local energy solutions. EnergyMatters has clients in industry, agriculture and the built environment and has more than 20 years of experience in the field of energy. EnergyMatters combines an integral approach with expertise ranging from technology and economics to legislation and policy. EnergyMatters has 8 consultants, all having academic degrees. 

Together with KIWA organization, EnergyMatters is the initiator and leader of the Fuel Cell Expertise Network. The ultimate goal of this network is to bring stationary fuel cell application to a mass market proposition and thus facilitate market growth. In order to do so the FC Expertise Network facilitates market introduction by building up expertise and a network. The primary function of the FC Expertise Network is to develop & share knowledge about fuel cell market deployment. This knowledge is to be shared exclusively to members of the FEN and used for this application study. 

EnergyMatters is also involved in the CODE2 project started by Cogen Europe. This project aims to provide a better understanding of key markets, policy interactions around cogeneration and acceleration and market growth of cogeneration including fuel cell CHP in the European Union.
